Camping Reservations and Policies

We begin taking reservations on January 1st for the upcoming season. You may make reservations here or by calling (701)873-5800. If you wish to make reservations over the phone prior to our season starting on May 12th please call Amber at 701-891-8153

All campsites require the first nights fee to be paid when the reservation is made. There is a two night minimum stay on all reservations and there is a three night minimum for Memorial weekend, the Fourth of July, the Dakota Walleye Classic and labor day weekend .

The cancellation fee is equivalent to the first nights stay. If cancellation is made after noon two days prior to check in the the remainder of the stay will be charged unless otherwise filled 

Check In: 3:00pm
Check Out: 12:00pm

You must check in at the store prior to occupying a campsite. We do our best not to move anyone after a reservation is made however we can not guarantee specific site numbers.

Early check in:  We can not guarantee an early check in however if you arrive prior to check in and your campsite is ready we will be happy to accommodate you.

Late check out: Check out is at 12:00 pm sharp however we do understand that sometimes you wish to stay later. If this is the case you can check with us the morning of your scheduled departure. $10.00 fee may apply

Late Arrival:
 If you will be arriving after store hours you must make arrangements  before the store closes.

Dakota Waters Resort Guest Policies

Speed limit in the park is 5 mph.

Quiet time is 11:00pm to 7:00am


ATV'S and Golf Carts
  • ATV'S and golf carts  must be legally licensed and are only allowed as a means of transportation to the store. All drivers must have a valid drivers license and stay on clearly marked roads. ND State highway rules apply.

Campfires
  • No unattended fires.
  • All firewood must fit entirely in the ring and burned in a safe manner.
  • Fire must be fully extinguished each night and before departure.
  • There is no removal of trees or branches for campfires. If you are in need of firewood you may purchase it at the store
  • Do not burn trash.
  • Do not move fire rings: $50.00 fine
  • Do not leave trash in fireplace: $15.00 fine

Firearms, BB Guns, Potato Guns, Paintball Guns, Slingshots, and Arrows 
  • No person, with the exception of a duly authorized peace officer may possess a loaded firearm or dangerous weapon in the park. Any fire arms must but unloaded and properly stored at all times.

Fireworks
  • Fireworks are strictly prohibited anywhere in the park.
  • This includes all types of fireworks. If caught using fireworks you will be asked to evactuate the park immediately.

Pets
  • Pets must be leashed and under physical control at all times.
  • Do not tie your pet to trees or electrical posts.
  • Noisy vicious or dangerous pets are not allowed.
  • Pets are not to be left unattended in camper or at the campsite.
  • Keep your site and the campground clean of droppings. $20.00 fine
  • Pet owners are responsible for any and all harm done to sites, property, or injury to others.

Children must be supervised at all times

Camping and lodging fees must be paid upon check in and are non-refundable.
